New York State Library is open Monday - Friday, 9:30 - 5.

They will be offering some upcoming free webinars of interest to genealogists. See their website https://www.nysl.nysed.gov for details.

For the near future we will continue to meet on Zoom.  Rest assured that we continue our search for a new "home base" that will allow us meet in-person and meet the needs of our distantly located members. Because we sign contracts with our speakers months in advance setting date, time, method of presentation, etc., our meetings cannot change quickly. 

As an in-between measure we are scheduling some local events. This summer we hosted a picnic, next year we plan to have another picnic as well as an in-person "genealogy help" day at a local library. We also have something in the works for an in-person program in cooperation with the NYS Museum.
