MEMBERS ONLY SECTION

Contents of the "Members Only" pages of the Capital District Genealogical Society are for the onsite use of our registered members. Any copying, sharing, photographing, embedding, or otherwise duplication is prohibited. In addition no recordings, screen recordings, screenshots or audio/video captures of any kind of the speaker presentation videos is permitted without the express permission of our presenters and/or the Board of Governors of the Capital District Genealogical Society. Viewing the Members Only area signifies your agreement with this policy.

We provide additional information to members in good standing (meaning you have paid your membership dues for the year). Extra content includes:

• Some meeting handouts from our speakers and our internet research group.  
• Videos of our Zoom meeting presentations and handouts from the presentations if they were provided by the speaker.  
• Links to NYS vital record images.

Access to Members Only information is now a choice with the "What Do You Want To Do?" drop down menu that you will see once you have signed in to your CDGS account.   To access Members Only information you MUST Sign in to your account. We also offer an opportunity to have our NYS Volunteers do some limited (2-3 hrs.) research in the NYS Library/Archives for you at no charge.  There is a form you must complete that asks: 

• what are you looking for
• what do you know about the person/family already
• what sources have you already utilized
• your contact information.
